JP ONE, born Alvin C. Hill IV, a recent MBA graduate and lifetime entrepreneur, is the CEO of Real Life Business Solutions and Gifted & Talented. Born to not so ideal circumstances, JP became a ward of the state at the age of eleven and bounced between boys’ homes, juveniles, foster homes, and family homes until the age of 18 when he caught his first case as an adult. After serving nine years in the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC), he hadn’t learned his lesson and found himself facing a federal indictment just a few years after being released from state prison.
After pleading out to a conspiracy charge in 2016, he entered FCI Milan determined not to allow his past to dictate his future. He immediately signed up for the college courses that were offered at the institution and he graduated in 2019, with a 4.0 gpa. Upon returning to society in 2021, he registered for Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business and started his consulting firm, Real Life Business Solutions.. He graduated with his bachelors in Management in 2023 and his MBA in 2024, with concentrations in Management and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Building a six-figure consulting firm as a full-time student wasn’t easy, but the discipline and focus gained over the past three years gave him a clarity most people could only hope for.
